Create multi point and multi profile routes and save and load them as GPX files.

We’re excited to announce a major update to the DMD2 app: the all-new Trip Planner! This feature takes navigation to the next level, giving you full control over how you plan your journeys.

DMD2 Trip Planner allows you to create navigation routes with multiple points, multiple routed sections with different profiles, straight line sections and even add waypoints (for notes / warnings / POI information), making it easy to plan complex trips — whether you’re mapping a weekend adventure, a scenic tour, or a detailed cross-country journey.

Designed with usability in mind, the interface is highly touch-friendly. You can easily drag, drop, and adjust waypoints or route sections with just a few taps.


Multi Section and Multi Profile

You’re not limited to a single route style — create multiple sections and assign different routing profiles to each. This means you can seamlessly switch between road, off-road, or custom navigation styles within one trip.

Add straight line sections for places where there is no road to route on.

Easily edit the routing points (move / delete), easily split sections and assign new routing profiles.

In the end one single GPX will be generated with all the different sections split into routes and tracks according to the original plan.



Waypoints

  • Add waypoints anywhere along your journey.

  • Customize waypoint icons, and even assign a name and description to keep everything organized.

  • Easily move waypoints and edit them.

  • Waypoints will be correctly added in the final GPX file.


We will soon update it with over 20 new routing profiles, a brand new profile selector with detailed information about each profile and fine tuning settings.
