Rich maps

300+ offline maps. Layers on top.

Download topographic maps for the whole world — over 300 in the catalog — and ride them without a connection. When you do have signal, stack useful online layers on top.

  • Worldwide offline topo coverage, downloadable in-app, in light and dark themes.
  • Hillshading and satellite view for terrain reading.
  • Weather overlays — temperature, rain and wind on the map itself.
  • Country topo layers — US Topo, Lantmäteriet, Geoscience Australia, Kartverket, ZM50 Czech, IGN France.

Map control

Make the map yours

The new DMD2 hands you the rendering controls — decide what your map shows, and pin live data exactly where you want it.

Map Control Settings

Tune what the map renders: road classes, labels, POI categories, map language, text scale and the theme — per rider profile, so your enduro setup and your touring setup can disagree.

Overlay cardsNew

Drop live data cards right on the map — speed, altitude, TPMS, OBD, trip values. Drag them anywhere, resize with a long press, then lock the layout so a gloved thumb can't wreck it.

GPX manager

GPX is still king

The most advanced GPX toolset of any navigation app, rebuilt around one idea: load your files and ride, everything else is handled.

  • GPX Manager — load multiple files, show / hide / invert tracks, routes and waypoints in a couple of taps.
  • Your lines, your look — colors, widths, transparency and arrows per file.
  • The next curve, before you can see it — riding a plain track, DMD2 reads the line ahead and calls the distance and angle of the next curve, alongside your progress along the line and the heading to the next waypoint.
  • Turn-by-turn from a plain track — DMD2 reads the line and extracts instructions, no route conversion needed.
  • Every loaded file at a glance — how many tracks, routes and waypoints it holds, with center, invert, info and unload one tap away.
  • Off-path alerts if you deviate or ride the track in the wrong direction.
  • GPX recorder — record your ride and share or re-ride it later.

Route RepairNew

Imported a GPX route with missing or broken route points? The Route Repair wizard rebuilds it into a clean, navigable route — right on the device.

It syncs with the DMD HUB

Your files are not stuck on the tablet. They sync to your HUB account, so the same library is there in any web browser and on every device you ride — organise folders, edit a file, or plan a whole new route online and find it waiting on the device.

Three DMD tablets: navigating a GPX track with the next turn called out, the Loaded GPX Files panel with a file's tracks and routes, and the GPX Manager with folders

Auto POIs

The trail provides. DMD2 tells you where.

Pick the POI categories that matter — fuel, water, camping, food — and DMD2 automatically loads them along your loaded track or route, with live distance to the next ones of each type. No more zooming around the map looking for the next fuel stop.

Riding groups

Nobody rides alone

Create a group, send an invite link, and every rider shows up live on everyone's map. The group shares one GPX, sees who stops, and hears about it when someone needs help.

  • Live positions on the map for every member of the group.
  • Invite links — friends join from a simple share, no account juggling on the trail.
  • "Help Me" requests and automatic alerts when a rider disconnects or stops.
  • Share the group GPX so the whole pack rides the same line.
  • LoRa group ride — on LoRa-equipped DMD devices, groups keep tracking each other beyond cell coverage.

DMD HUB

Plan on the big screen.
Ride it on the trail.

Build your route in the HUB planner at home — multi-point, POI suggestions, road or off-road — and it lands in the app, ready to navigate. Your content follows you both ways.

  • HUB route planner integration — plans sync straight into the app's HUB GPX manager.
  • GPX files, folders and saved locations sync between the app, the web HUB and the DMD HUB iPhone app.
  • Discover community content — shared locations, GPX files and Signature Tracks.
  • Full app backups to the cloud — restore your setup on a new device in minutes.

Rally mode

Roadbook, rally rules

A full digital roadbook reader built to race regulations — load FIA-rules OpenRally roadbooks or classic PDF roadbooks and control everything from the handlebar.

  • OpenRally format support — the electronic roadbook format used under FIA rally rules.
  • PDF roadbooks in the classic scrolling style.
  • 3 configurable instrument panels — put any value where your eyes expect it.
  • Sessions save and resume — pick up exactly where the stage left you.
  • Mini-map overlay and, with a GPX loaded, live distance and heading to the next waypoint.
  • Remote controller support — advance, correct and reset without leaving the grips.

Connectivity

One app. Your whole cockpit.

DMD2 talks to the hardware around it — remotes, sensors, cameras, your vehicle's ECU — and puts it all on one screen.

Your vehicle, instrumented

Pair a Bluetooth OBD2 dongle and DMD2 becomes a second dash: RPM, temperatures, voltage, throttle, fuel — in a dashboard view, on the map as overlay cards, or on your Home screen. It reads ECU error codes too, and lets you reset or ignore them.

Riding with a GoPro, Insta360 or DJI? Connect your action camera and control recording from the app — start and stop from the screen or the remote, eyes on the trail.

Sensor availability varies per vehicle.

One app, any vehicle

Bars or dashboard.

The same maps, the same GPX, the same roadbook — bolted to a handlebar in the weather, or living on a 4x4 dash beside the radio and the action camera. Rider profiles keep each vehicle's setup separate, so swapping machines doesn't mean rebuilding your screen.

Stay reachable

Your phone stays in your pocket

Calls and notifications from the phone you carry show up on the screen you're actually looking at — whichever phone you ride with.

iPhone — native ANCS

DMD2 speaks Apple's own notification protocol. Pair your iPhone over Bluetooth and notifications mirror natively — no companion app to install on the phone.

Android — DMD Phone Link

Riding with an Android phone in your pocket? Install the DMD Phone Link companion on it, and your notifications and calls relay to the DMD2 screen on the bars.

Warnings that matter

Weather, fires and local knowledge

DMD2 watches the conditions around your ride: weather layers on the map, active fire alerts with affected areas, and global emergency service broadcasts for weather events and catastrophes.

On top of that, country modules add official local alert feeds and rules — and they are free for everyone:

🇵🇹Portugal — Avisos 🇪🇸Catalunya — Pla Alfa 🇫🇷France — Vigilance + ZFE 🇦🇺NSW — Fire alerts 🇦🇺Victoria — Fire alerts

ZFE zones, read for ridersUnique

France's low-emission zones publish separate rules for cars and two-wheelers — and DMD2 reads the motorcycle Crit'Air column, not the car one. 11 of the 35 published zones don't restrict motorcycles at all: an app reading car rules would warn you away from streets you're perfectly allowed to ride.

Home view — your layout DMD² Home dashboard on a rugged DMD tablet: saved-location shortcuts, a media player, compass and instrument gauges, and a full weather panel

Home dashboard

Six slots. Your rules.

The Home view is a dashboard you assemble yourself: two independent layouts — Home 1 and Home 2 — of three rows each. You choose what every row shows, and how much of the screen Home takes.

  • Sixteen row types — app shortcuts, GPS dashboard, trip info, odometer, media player, favorite locations, speedometer, weather details and more.
  • Two layouts, one tap apart — an around-town Home and a riding Home; the Home button swaps your whole dashboard.
  • Sized by you — drag the dividers to run Home full screen or side by side with the map, from a single row up to all six.
  • Accessory rows — Power Box switches, TPMS pressures, live OBD2 sensors and action-camera controls at a glance.
  • Notifications feed from the device or your pocket phone.
  • Your apps, one tap away — an App Shortcuts row for the ones you reach for, and the full app list on the Home screen for everything else.
